Topics for week commencing Monday 18th June

7X2: Convert and understand the equivalence between fractions, decimals and percentages. Use the equivalence of fractions, decimals and percentages to solve multi-stage problems. Multiply and divide three-digit by two-digit whole numbers. Multiplying and dividing decimals with one or two places by single-digit whole numbers.

7Y1: Convert between metric units. Metric and imperial measures. Types of angle.

8X3: Use and understand decimal notation to represent tenths, hundredths and thousandths in relation to money and measurements. Round numbers to a given degree of accuracy up to 3 decimal places and order decimals with up to 3 decimal places.

8Y1: Multiply & divide by any integer powers of 10. Substitute into expressions & formulae. Derive a formula & in simple cases change its subject.

9X2: Rules of indices. Using term-to-term & position-to-term methods for generating a sequence including geometric patterns.

10X2: Use calculators to explore exponential growth and decay, using a multiplier and power key. Calculate the upper and lower bounds, particularly when working with measurements. Find the upper and lower bounds of calculations involving perimeter, areas and volumes of 2-D shapes and 3-D shapes.
